Alienware’s new G-sync monitors look amazing

Alienware is a Dell owned company renowned for manufacturing high-end gaming PCs, laptops and accessories. Today at IFA 2017 they announced two new 34-inch curved gaming monitor with G-Sync, and they look gorgeous!

The specifications for these two new monitors isn’t anything we haven’t seen before, but that’s not a bad thing. The more expensive of the two is the ‘Alienware A W 3 4 1 8 D W’ model. Notice the spacing in the letters, it’s just reminding you that these are wide 21:9 monitors. This model includes a 34-inch curved 3440 x 1440 resolution display and supports G-Sync with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The second (and cheaper) model is the ‘Alienware A W 34 1 8 H W’. This model has a 2560 x 1080 resolution display which is flat instead of being curved like the previously mentioned model. The trade off for a lower resolution, however, is that you get a 160Hz G-Sync display – as supposed to the 120Hz one on the more expensive model.

Both of the 34-inch monitors have a 4ms second response time and come with customizable LEDs which you can change the colour of to match your setup.

The higher resolution model is available for purchase today for $1499 and the other will be available later this year for $1199. The biggest selling point for these monitors has to be the design. There are many comparable cheaper monitors on the market but very few have the ultra-thin bezels and include customizable lighting.
